“THE HIVE” is a temporary shelter for during exams. It gives me the opportunity to work on my projects without the need to move everything. The Hive is located on school terrain so everything I need is within reach. It’s a place I can stay myself, or invite people to come and work with me together, or on different projects. To seperate the private parts of the stay, I added some cocoons to the already existing structures of the building. These cocoons are inspired by wasps nests and beehives. Each with a different shade of transparency, depending on the function of each cocoon. For example: the showercocoon and the bed cocoon are fully opaque to optimize privacy. The area aroud them is semi transparent and the parts connecting them are fully transparant.
